Used car live auctions
Auktion & Markt AG is one of the largest used car sellers specialising in dealership business. Professional auctions have been held since 1988. From 2000 on auctions for car dealers have been held at the request of leading dealerships in many locations in Germany under the banner "The auction house comes to you". Cars, utility vehicles, vehicles with accident damage and motorcycles traded in, returned from fleet service or taken back by leasing companies are sold every day. Our services cover all activities from preparation through to implementation, and we work to achieve results down to the last detail. Auktion & Markt AG combines the best auctioneer team in the sector with know-how covering all the major marques and up to now has carried out more than 2000 auctions. Currently over 1000 vehicles of all marques, classes and price categories are offered each week in up to five auctions. In 2006, a total of 60.000 vehicles with a total value of 600 million Euro were sold.
Used car online auctions
In addition to our live auctions all over Germany, the hammer has also been falling on the Internet since 2003 - in our auction platform www.Autobid.de. Every day starting from 10 a.m. online auctions take place with up to 250 used vehicles. All the vehicles can be "viewed" online several days in advance. In the same way as in our live auctions, the vehicles are auctioned one after another at a rate of around one per minute - in real time! All auction vehicles are assessed personally on site by our experienced staff or by recognised independent experts. Up to 40 photos document the precise state of the vehicles. Only in 2006 25.000 vehicles were auctioned off successfully and changed hands. More than 22% of the dealers bid directly from the foreign countries of Europe.
Besides the main office in Wiesbaden and the vehicle stock in Frankfurt, we have - for the care of our online customers - offices in Braunschweig, Dreieich, Düren, Poland and Spain. More locations are in the planning stage.
The year 2006 has been intensively used to enlarge our Europe-wide activities. All online auctions can be tracked in 7 languages. In 2007 more vehicles from reputable suppliers will be auctioned off directly from the foreign countries of Europe.
Auction centres in the whole of Germany
In December 2002 we established our first auction centre in Düren in cooperation with Recontec GmbH, where eight full-time staff are currently engaged. The centres in Osnabrück, Hamburg and Mannheim followed in 2004. At the beginning of this year, the auction centre south (Auktionszentrum Süd) followed in Emmering near Munich, along with the Frankfurt South auction centre in Weiterstadt. In 2005 joined the auction centres Munich, Frankfurt-Süd in Weiterstadt, Berlin and Essen. Auktion & Markt AG currently employs 120 staff throughout Germany.
